Honda VTX 1300
My sweet little VTX 1300
I have a Honda VTX 1300 and I love it. It is just the right size for me. Its not to big nor is it to small. I am six foot tall and I weigh 220 pounds. My Honda is just perfect.

I have had many different kinds of motorcycles, I have had every kind of motorcycles anything from Harley Davidson's to Kawasaki. I have to admit my Honda VTX 1300 is probably the best all around motorcycle that I have had to date.. I know I will get some flack from you hard core Harley fans. That's ok, I have had plenty of Harley s. They are good motorcycles. I had a Harley Fat Boy before I got the Honda VTX. The Fat boy was a great bike but it rode a bit rough. The VTX 1300 rides smoother so I can ride longer. I find as I get older I need a more comfortable ride.

Enough about that. I would like to Share a few websites and Squidoo lenses I have that are about motorcycle riding. The first is Motorcycles and News. This is a lens that is kind of cool. The next is Used Motorcycles. This lens is about buying and selling used motorcycles. This next lens, the Serene Center is not necessarily about motorcycle riding. however, it does have information about being a drug free biker. This lens holds a very special place in my heart.

Now on to some unique Web Pages the I have. The first I want to share is a Lens called Women Biker. I bet you can guess what its about. That's right its about being a women biker.

The last site is one that I have had nothing to do with building nor do I have a thing to do with running it. The reason I am adding it to this post id because I am a member and I really respect what the site is about. This webpage is a true biker social networking webpage. BikerCraze is a great place to join and meet other bikers. Check out my profile and the join and become a friend of mine.
Well until next, Ride Like You Stole It.

I found a great new website that has great low priced used motorcycles for sale. It is called Cruisers Motorcycle Sales. Even though the website is new, they have been in business selling motorcycles for 30 years. They have sold used motorcycles all over the USA and Canada. If you get a chance, check it out you might find a great deal on a used motorcycle for sale.

Another great website I just found is a web page for bikers, that have a common passion for riding motorcycles and a desire to mentor other women that want to get into motorcycling. This website has a lot of interesting articles about motorcycle women. Articles like what to wear when you get down to Daytona. or what the best motorcycle for women is. the site is called Lace Wheels - Motorcycles and Women. If your a women and you ride, check it out. You will live it.

Please check back often and I will have more really cool motorcycle websites to share with you.

Harly Davidson Vs. Honda

I have a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 low and a Honda Vtx1300s. I love riding both of them. I can’t really say that I like one over the other. Although they each have a completely different ride. The Sportster has a stage one kit on it and seems to have a bit more zip off to the line. It rides a bit stiffer and the seat is rock hard. It is very maneuverable and is great for running about town or the local short hop here or there. But it kills over the long haul. The only downfall it has is that the fuel tank is smaller and I can only run about 100 miles give or take.

The Honda 1300s is a different story. It on the other hand it compares to the Harley Fat Boy I had before. Its ride is great for any long trip. The seat is comfortable and its height is just right. It is however a bit doggish off the line. But after the first quarter it’s a rocket. It has a bigger fuel tank so I can run longer in-between the pumps. It handles like a dream flowing into turns. How ever it is a bit heavier also drive shaft driven it seems to feel a bit stiffer turning to the left.

Both motorcycles cost close to the same price and needed little modification to get them to my standard and comfort zone.

I have had both of these bikes for about a year now. I would recommend either one. I truly do love riding them both.

Check out BikerCraze to find out about biker accessories, biker groups, or biker classifieds.
